COINDU | Sustainability Report - 2024
SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2024 As part of the onboarding process, COINDU delivers a comprehen- sive safety induction for all subcontracted personnel. This induction provides critical information on the company’s safety policies and pro- cedures, emergency protocols, internal contacts, and access control requirements. The objective is to ensure that every individual working on our premises is fully informed of the expectations and equipped to act safely and responsibly. In addition to meeting legal requirements, subcontracted companies are expected to comply with internal health and safety protocols, which may include participating in additional training sessions, attending safety meetings, and collaborating with COINDU’s internal Environ- ment and Health & Safety teams in identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with their operations. Continuous monitoring is carried out to ensure full compliance with these requirements. Any deviation is addressed through corrective actions, audits, or, where necessary, the suspension of on-site activi- ties until compliance is restored. COINDU understands that workplace safety is a shared responsibility. By fostering close collaboration with subcontracted partners, we aim to create a culture of safety that permeates every layer of our value chain. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every worker—whether di- rectly employed or subcontracted—can perform their duties with the confidence that their well-being is being safeguarded. This approach is integral to our broader sustainability commitments, reinforcing the social dimension of our sustainability strategy and our role in promoting ethical and responsible business practices. 123
